Leica has just announced the new M-E (Typ 240) digital rangefinder camera. The camera is designed for newcomers to the M system, “making it the new entry-point of Leica M rangefinders.” Inside the M-E (Typ 240) is a 24-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor backed by a Leica Maestro image processor and a 2GB buffer (up from the 1GB buffer of the original M240).
